Baywood II Floor Plans: All Four Homes Compared

Baywood II has four floor plans: the Aisle, Sapole II, Robie and Crosscourt. All four are two-story single-family homes by D.R. Horton in Florida City, in the Tradition Series. They run from 2,046 to 2,790 square feet of living space. Two plans have four bedrooms and two have five. Three of the four put a bedroom and a full bath on the first floor. Three have a two-car garage, and one, the Sapole II, has a one-car garage.
This guide lines up all four plans side by side, explains what makes each one different, and helps you pick the two you should walk first.
Baywood II Floor Plans at a Glance
Here are the four plans, smallest to largest. Square feet means air-conditioned living space, from the builder's floor plan drawings.

All four plans are two stories. Every plan has a patio or lanai out back and a covered entry at the front.
The two smallest plans are only 39 square feet apart. The two largest are almost 300 square feet apart. So there are two choices to make. First, a home near 2,050 square feet or one near 2,500 to 2,800? Second, inside each pair, how do you want the space arranged?
What Every Baywood II Plan Has in Common
Some things are the same in all four plans. The Baywood II Tradition Series features sheet lists masonry exterior walls on a concrete slab, a roof with hurricane clips and bracing, Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, 2CM granite kitchen countertops with 2CM quartz in the baths, 18" x 18" ceramic tile in the first-floor living areas, a paver driveway, Uponor PEX water lines and the Home Is Connected smart home package.

The Two Smaller Plans: Aisle and Sapole II
These two are close in size, but they are built for different families.
The Aisle is the smallest plan, at 2,046 square feet, and the only one that keeps all four bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs is one open space: a 14'0" x 16'2" living room, a 14'4" x 10'0" dining area and a 14'4" x 11'2" kitchen with an island. A powder room sits by the front door. The 20'4" x 20'0" two-car garage is the biggest garage at Baywood II. Upstairs, Bedroom 1 is 12'0" x 15'4" with a walk-in closet, and the laundry is on the bedroom floor.
The Sapole II is 2,085 square feet. It trades the Aisle's second garage bay for two things: a first-floor bedroom with a full bath, and a 12'0" x 16'9" upstairs living area. Bedroom 4, at 10'5" x 11'11", sits next to Bath 3 downstairs. The great room is 16'4" x 18'1". The garage is a 12'0" x 19'1" one-car space, and the laundry is on the first floor.

The Two Larger Plans: Robie and Crosscourt
The Robie is 2,499 square feet with five bedrooms, the most regular bedrooms at Baywood II. Bedroom 4 is downstairs, at 13'4" x 10'8", next to Bath 3. The living room measures 14'8" x 15'10" and opens to a 10'4" x 8'2" covered lanai. Upstairs are four more bedrooms, including Bedroom 1 at 18'8" x 12'4", the largest bedroom at Baywood II, plus a 13'4" x 9'0" upstairs living area and the laundry room.
The Crosscourt is the largest plan, at 2,790 square feet, and the only one with a multi-gen suite. On the first floor, a private 12'10" x 12'6" bedroom, an 11'4" x 15'0" living area, a full bath with a shower and a walk-in closet sit together, with optional spots for a stacked washer and dryer and a refrigerator. The main great room is 15'6" x 23'7", and the kitchen is 11'0" x 19'6". Upstairs are four bedrooms, a 13'4" x 21'5" upstairs living area and the laundry room.

The Plans With a First-Floor Bedroom
Three Baywood II plans put a bedroom and a full bathroom downstairs:
Sapole II: Bedroom 4, 10'5" x 11'11", next to Bath 3 with a shower
Robie: Bedroom 4, 13'4" x 10'8", next to Bath 3
Crosscourt: the multi-gen bedroom, 12'10" x 12'6", with its own living area, Bath 3 and a walk-in closet
That is useful if a parent visits often or someone in the family does not want stairs every day. The Aisle has a powder room downstairs but no bedroom.
The Plans With an Upstairs Living Area
Three plans have a second living space at the top of the stairs, labeled "upstairs living" on the drawings: the Sapole II at 12'0" x 16'9", the Robie at 13'4" x 9'0" and the Crosscourt at 13'4" x 21'5". Where the Laundry Goes
This matters every week. The washer and dryer spot is upstairs, near the bedrooms, in the Aisle, Robie and Crosscourt, and downstairs, by the kitchen and garage, in the Sapole II. The Crosscourt adds an optional stacked spot inside the multi-gen suite. The drawings mark these spots as optional, so ask what is included.
How Big Are the Main Bedrooms?
Every Baywood II plan has a walk-in closet off Bedroom 1, but the room sizes are not the same:
Aisle: 12'0" x 15'4"
Sapole II: 16'4" x 12'11"
Robie: 18'8" x 12'4"
Crosscourt: 17'0" x 14'6"

Prices change, so treat these as recent starting points only.
Aisle: has recently started in the high $570,000s

Notice that the Sapole II is only 39 square feet larger than the Aisle but has recently started higher. It has a third full bath and a downstairs bedroom. The bigger gap is between the Robie and the Crosscourt: about 290 square feet, a multi-gen suite and a half bath. Ask the sales team what explains the gaps on the homes you are looking at.

Which Baywood II Plan Fits You?
You need five bedrooms: Robie, or the Crosscourt if one of them can be the multi-gen bedroom.
You want a private suite for a parent or adult child: Crosscourt.
You want a first-floor bedroom in a smaller home: Sapole II.
You want the biggest garage and the lowest recent starting price: Aisle.
You want a big second living area upstairs: Crosscourt, then Sapole II.
You want a covered outdoor room: Robie, the only plan with a covered lanai on the drawing.
Every plan shares the community tot lot, a playground for young children. D.R. Horton does not publish an opening date for it, so ask about its status when you visit.
How Baywood II Compares Nearby
Parker Pointe in Homestead offers townhomes and single-family homes in the same Tradition Series, including a Sapole plan and two five-bedroom plans.
