An infinity pool is a pool where the water flows over one edge, so the surface seems to run on with no border. At Greyhawk Landing, DiVosta's community pool is this kind of pool. DiVosta calls it a ""vanishing edge"" pool, which is another name for the same idea. It is part of an amenity campus that also includes a clubhouse, a fitness center, two pickleball courts and a playground. Here is how an infinity pool works, what else is on the campus, and what to ask before you buy.

What Is an Infinity Pool?

Wikipedia defines an infinity pool as ""a reflecting pool or swimming pool where the water flows over one or more edges, producing a visual effect of water with no boundary."" It lists other names for the same design, including ""vanishing edge pool,"" ""negative edge pool"" and ""zero edge pool.""

How the edge works

The trick is in the build. Wikipedia explains that the ""infinite"" edge ends at a low wall, called a weir, set slightly below the water level. A trough or catch basin sits below that edge. The water spills over into the basin, and pumps send it back into the pool.

So the water is always moving over that edge. From the right spot, you do not see a wall at all. You see water that seems to keep going.

Infinity pool vs a regular pool

  • Regular pool: The water stops at a wall or coping that sits above the water line.

  • Infinity pool: On at least one side, the wall sits at or just below the water line, and the water flows over it.

The Vanishing Edge Pool at Greyhawk Landing

DiVosta's Greyhawk Landing page, checked October 15, 2026, lists ""Pool with Vanishing Edge"" as a community feature. Its photo gallery includes a ""Vanishing Edge Pool,"" a ""Resort-Style Pool"" and a ""Clubhouse Poolside Veranda.""

The page also carries a news note: ""Resort-Style Amenities Now Open!"" It says Greyhawk Landing ""now features a resort-style amenity campus complete with a community clubhouse, vanishing-edge pool, fitness center, pickleball courts, and playground.""

DiVosta's fine print adds that amenities ""are proposed and remain subject to change."" Call for current hours and access before you plan around them. You can see the full feature list on Greyhawk Landing's NHS profile.

Everything on the Amenity Campus

DiVosta lists these amenities at Greyhawk Landing:

Amenity

What DiVosta says

Pool

""Resort-Style Swimming Pool"" with a vanishing edge

Clubhouse

""Community Clubhouse,"" with a ""Clubhouse Gathering Space"" in the photos

Fitness

""State-of-the-Art Fitness Center""

Pickleball

""2 Pickleball Courts""

Playground

""Playground""

Pickleball

Two courts on site means you can play without driving to a public park. If you want more courts, Palm Beach County's Okeeheelee Park lists six pickleball courts. We cover that park in our guide to Okeeheelee Park and everyday errands near Greyhawk Landing. For how another community handled pickleball, see Avenir's courts and the nearby public courts.

Fitness center

A gym inside the community can save you a membership and a drive. On your tour, look at the equipment, the space and the hours.

Clubhouse

DiVosta's photo captions for the community include ""Welcome to the Clubhouse,"" ""Clubhouse Gathering Space"" and ""Clubhouse Poolside Veranda."" A clubhouse next to the pool gives the community a shared indoor space, a place to cool off and a spot to meet neighbors.

On your tour, ask how residents use it today. Common uses in new communities include:

  • Social events and holiday parties

  • Club meetings, from book clubs to card games

  • A place to work for an hour away from home

  • Private parties, if the community allows reservations

No CDD at Greyhawk Landing

DiVosta's Greyhawk Landing page says there are ""No Community Development District (CDD) Fees."" If you are comparing communities, read why a CDD changes your yearly cost.

Want Your Own Pool Too?

The community pool is shared. Some buyers also want a private pool behind the home. DiVosta's model photos for Greyhawk Landing include captions like ""Covered Lanai with Pool"" and ""Customize Your Dream Pool,"" and two plans show a ""Pool Bath"" or ""Pool Bathroom.""

A private pool is not part of the standard features list. Ask the sales team:

  • Which plans and homesites can fit a pool?

  • Is the pool built by DiVosta or by an outside pool company?

  • How does a pool affect the lanai and the backyard space?

Remember that the lanai, the yard and the pool all share the same homesite. Look at your homesite on the community map before you decide.

How It Compares With Other DiVosta Amenities Nearby

DiVosta builds two other communities with a Lake Worth address. Their amenity lists are different, according to DiVosta's own pages, checked October 15, 2026.

Other amenities DiVosta lists

Greyhawk Landing

Clubhouse, fitness center, two pickleball courts, playground

Hendrix Reserve

Resort-style pool

Cabana, tot lot, barbecue grills; a pickleball court listed in the plans

Amara by DiVosta

Clubhouse (under construction, per its page), fitness center, pickleball and basketball courts, playground, kids room, event lawn

If a clubhouse and gym are high on your list, Greyhawk Landing and Amara both list them. Greyhawk Landing is the one of the three that lists a vanishing-edge pool.

Pool Tips for New Neighbors

A shared pool works best when everyone knows the basics. A few simple habits help:

  • Never swim alone. Know where the nearest phone is.

  • Stay off the edge. On a vanishing-edge pool, the low side is a design feature, not a seat.

  • Check the hours. Ask the sales team or management for the posted pool hours.

  • Bring water and shade. Florida sun is strong even on cloudy days.

Questions to Ask About the Amenities

  1. Is everything on the amenity campus open now?

  2. What are the hours for the pool, clubhouse and fitness center?

  3. Can the clubhouse be reserved for private events?

  4. Are the pickleball courts lit for evening play?

  5. Which homesites are closest to, or farthest from, the amenity campus?

The last question matters both ways. Some buyers want to walk to the pool. Others prefer a homesite farther from the activity.
