The Pier

The Fisher Family Pier stretches nearly 900 feet into the Atlantic. The end of the pier is shaped like a fish. You can walk out for the view, or fish with rental gear. A bait shop sells drinks and snacks. Near the pier you will also find the First Marine Amphibious Landing Monument, which remembers a 1776 landing by Continental Marines.

Things to Do on the Sand

Swim. Lifeguards watch the water at marked towers.
Play beach volleyball. The visitor site lists volleyball along the beach.
Rent a chair or umbrella. Chairs, umbrellas and beach beds are available to rent.
Bring the kids. There is a playground and a splash pad on the beachfront.

On the Water
