How to get there from Amara's community details. Amara sits on the west side of US 441, also called State Road 7, south of Hypoluxo Road. State Road 7 runs north to Forest Hill Boulevard in Wellington. Forest Hill Boulevard crosses State Road 7 in Wellington.
What Is Changing at the Mall at Wellington Green
The mall has changed over the years, and it may change again.
The Nordstrom store closed in April 2019, and WPTV describes the building as vacant.
In 2026, a company called Bainbridge Companies filed plans with the Village of Wellington to replace the empty Nordstrom building with a 620-unit apartment project, as reported by WPTV. The local paper reported that the plan was still under staff review, needed a change to the village's master plan, and had no meetings scheduled yet.
In the same WPTV report, Wellington's village manager called Macy's, Dillard's and JCPenney ""high-performing stores.""
