Inside the Atlantic Collection: Westlake's Luxury Estate Homes

The Atlantic Collection is Westlake's estate-home neighborhood, set in a section of the community called The Woodlands, and it is the one collection built to a genuinely different standard than the rest of Westlake. If you are looking at luxury new homes Palm Beach County builders offer, the Atlantic Collection is worth understanding on its own terms rather than as just a bigger version of Cypress or Indigo.

What Makes Atlantic Different

Every other collection at Westlake—Courtyard, Cypress, and Indigo—is built around the same standard package: granite countertops, Daltile ceramic tile, and a Whirlpool stainless appliance set. Atlantic changes the finish level in three real ways. Kitchen and bathroom countertops are quartz instead of granite. Every home includes a Rinnai gas tankless water heater rather than a standard electric unit. And every Atlantic home ships with a Sentricon termite elimination system with a year of monitoring included, a feature not listed on any other collection's included-features sheet.

Four Atlantic plans currently have published specifications. Tequesta, Singer, Riviera, and Singer Grand and Riviera Grand—five more plan names in the collection—have been announced by Minto but do not yet have bedroom, bathroom, garage, or square footage figures published anywhere on the builder's own site. That is a gap in the builder's own material, not something worth guessing at, so we are not going to publish invented numbers for those five.

The Tequesta Grand's Casita

The Tequesta Grand stands out even among Atlantic's published plans for one specific feature: a casita, plus a wet bar and a bonus room, on top of the collection's standard quartz-and-tankless-water-heater package. At about 3,384 square feet of air-conditioned space and 4,789 square feet under roof, once you count the casita, garage, and covered outdoor space, it is one of the more distinct layouts in the entire Westlake lineup, not just within Atlantic.

Highland: The Entry Point Into Atlantic

At about 2,703 square feet, the Highland is the smallest published Atlantic plan and the most accessible entry into the collection's finish level. It is a single-story plan with 3 bedrooms, 2 full and 1 half bath, and a 3-car garage—including an office, a guest room, and a covered patio.

Jupiter and Jupiter Grand: Room to Scale Up

Jupiter and its larger Jupiter Grand version both include a guest room and a covered patio, with Jupiter Grand adding a full bedroom, a bathroom, and an office over the standard Jupiter. Both are single-story plans, which is worth noting since some buyers assume a home over 3,000 square feet automatically means two stories—in Atlantic's case, it does not.

What "Estate Home" Actually Means Here

"Estate home" is a finish-and-lot classification more than a strict size cutoff—it signals a step up in standard included features and, generally, a larger or more private homesite than the Cypress and Indigo Collections. It does not mean unlimited customization or a fundamentally different construction method; the same engineered steel-and-concrete block construction and impact-resistant windows and doors that run through every Westlake home apply here too. What changes is the finish package layered on top.

Comparing Atlantic to Indigo at Similar Square Footage

At a similar size, an Indigo Collection home and an Atlantic Collection home will differ mainly in finish level rather than layout logic—both are single-family, both come from the same builder, and both carry the same ten-year structural warranty. The Jupiter, at about 3,325 square feet, sits close in size to several larger Indigo plans. If you are torn between the two, ask to see both back-to-back so the countertop, water heater, and termite-system differences are in front of you rather than something you have to remember from separate visits on separate days.

Who the Atlantic Collection Fits

Atlantic makes sense for a buyer who has decided the finish level matters as much as the floor plan itself—quartz over granite, a tankless water heater, included termite protection—and who is comfortable choosing from four published plans today while Minto continues to release specifications for the remaining five plan names. If total square footage and plan count matter more than finish level, Cypress and Indigo offer far more published options to compare right now.

What to Look For on an Atlantic Tour

Because the finish differences between Atlantic and the rest of Westlake are largely in materials rather than layout—quartz instead of granite, a tankless water heater, frameless European-style cabinets—they are easy to miss on a quick walkthrough if you are not specifically looking for them. Ask the sales team to point out the cabinet construction and countertop edge profile directly, and compare a kitchen in an Atlantic model against a kitchen in a Cypress or Indigo model on the same visit so the difference is something you have actually seen rather than read about.

Ask About the Five Unreleased Plans Directly

If a name like Tequesta, Singer, or Riviera caught your attention but you cannot find its specifications, do not assume it is unavailable—it may simply mean Minto has not published the details for that specific plan yet or that a homesite for it has not been released. Calling directly is the only reliable way to find out where things stand, since a builder's own published material does not always update the moment something changes internally.

Common Questions

What makes the Atlantic Collection different from the rest of Westlake?

Quartz countertops instead of granite, a Rinnai gas tankless water heater, and an included Sentricon termite elimination system with a year of monitoring — none of which come standard on Courtyard, Cypress or Indigo.

How many Atlantic Collection plans are there?

Nine plan names total, but only four — Highland, Jupiter, Jupiter Grand and Tequesta Grand — currently have published bedroom, bathroom, garage and square footage figures.

Why don't all Atlantic plans have published specs?

Tequesta, Singer, Riviera, Singer Grand and Riviera Grand have been announced as plan names but Minto has not yet published their specifications on its own site. Call for the latest on when that changes.

What is a casita, and which plan has one?

A casita is a small, semi-attached living space, often used as a guest suite or private office. The Tequesta Grand is the Atlantic plan that includes one, along with a wet bar and a bonus room.

Are Atlantic Collection homes single-story or two-story?

All four published plans — Highland, Jupiter, Jupiter Grand and Tequesta Grand — are single-story. That is different from Westlake's larger Cypress and Indigo plans, which are often two-story at similar square footage.

What is the smallest Atlantic Collection home?

The Highland, at about 2,703 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 full and 1 half bath, is the smallest of the four published Atlantic plans.

Does the Atlantic Collection cost more than Cypress or Indigo?

Pricing changes often and varies by plan and homesite, so call 561-704-0091 for current numbers rather than assuming a fixed price gap between collections.
