What Features Come With a Blossom Trail Home?

In this article
Blossom Trail homes are offered with granite or quartz countertops — homes built with the standard package include granite, and homes built with the above-standard package include quartz. Beyond that, what's included can vary by home and phase. This guide walks through what D.R. Horton's own included-features sheet actually says, plus the one document you should ask for before you sign anything.

The single biggest mistake buyers make
Assuming the model home is exactly what you're buying.
It usually isn't. Model homes are built to sell, with the best version of everything — upgraded finishes, extra lighting, nicer cabinets. That's the whole point of a model home.
Then a buyer signs and finds out later that some of what they remember costs extra. This isn't a trick — nobody's hiding it — but nobody stops you at the door to explain it either. So you have to ask.
Ask for this one document
The included features sheet — sometimes called a features list or specification sheet. It's the written list of exactly what comes with the home at your specific address, not the community in general.
Get it before you sign. Read every line. Walk the model with that sheet in hand and ask, item by item, "is this on my list?"
Countertops: granite or quartz, by package
This is the one buyers ask about most, so let's be precise. Blossom Trail homes come with granite or quartz countertops, and which one you get depends on the package, not the room.
Homes built with the standard package include granite throughout. Homes built with the above-standard package include quartz throughout. This applies to both the kitchen and the bathrooms — it's not that the kitchen always gets one material and the bathroom always gets the other. Ask which package applies to the specific home you're considering, and get it in writing.
Kitchen features
According to D.R. Horton's included features sheet, kitchens come with stainless steel appliances — a side-by-side refrigerator with an ice maker, a glass-top range with a microwave above it, and a built-in dishwasher — plus a pull-out faucet, a garbage disposal, and custom cabinets with 36-inch upper cabinets.
Bathroom features
Bathrooms include tile shower walls and floor, a semi-frameless glass shower enclosure, and elongated toilets throughout, in addition to the granite or quartz countertops covered above.
The fenced backyard — townhomes only

This is worth its own callout because it's a genuine differentiator. Blossom Trail townhomes — the Bella and the Terra — include a fenced backyard. That is not standard at every townhome community, and it matters if you have children who need a contained outdoor space or a small dog who needs to go outside without a leash.
This is specific to the townhomes. The single-family plans (Delray, Robie, Ponte Vedra) do not include this as a standard feature — confirm current yard details for any specific single-family home you're considering.
Smart home features
Homes include a touchscreen home automation panel with a built-in camera, a WiFi video doorbell, a smart thermostat, a smart light switch, a smart door lock, and a WiFi-enabled garage door opener.
Ask whether any of this requires an ongoing subscription after you move in. Some smart home equipment is free to have but costs money to use fully.
Construction and structural features
Homes include a concrete monolithic foundation, masonry exterior walls, an engineered roof with hurricane clips and bracing, impact-resistant windows and sliding glass doors, and a paver driveway, walkway, and lanai.
Warranty coverage
D.R. Horton includes a 1-year builder warranty, a 10-year structural warranty, and a 10-year warranty on the air conditioning system. Ask what each specifically covers and how to file a claim if you need one.
What's not on this list
Just as important as what's included is being clear-eyed about what typically isn't, so you're not surprised at the sales office.
Window treatments — blinds, curtains, or shades — are frequently not included and are one of the first things buyers budget for after closing. Landscaping beyond the front yard sod is often minimal; if you want mature trees or a designed backyard, expect to add that yourself. Garage storage systems, epoxy flooring, and built-in shelving are almost always upgrades rather than standard.
Appliance upgrades beyond the base stainless package — a larger refrigerator, a different range style, a wine fridge — also typically cost extra. None of this is unusual for new construction; it's true across most builders, not just D.R. Horton. The point is simply to walk in expecting a well-built, functional home rather than a fully furnished showroom, and to budget separately for the finishing touches you'll likely want to add.
Amenities — confirm current status

Blossom Trail is planned with a gated entry, a swimming pool, a clubhouse with a fitness center, and a tot lot. Amenity construction is added over time as a community develops. Call to confirm the current status of each before you rely on it — don't assume a rendering or site plan means something is already built.

Are the countertops granite or quartz?
Either, depending on the package. Standard package homes get granite, above-standard package homes get quartz, throughout the kitchen and bathrooms.
Do the townhomes have a fenced backyard?
Yes — the Bella and Terra townhomes include a fenced backyard. This is not standard on the single-family plans.
What appliances are included?
Stainless steel appliances including a side-by-side refrigerator, glass-top range with microwave, and built-in dishwasher, per D.R. Horton's included features sheet.
Is smart home equipment included?
Yes — a touchscreen panel, video doorbell, smart thermostat, smart lock, and WiFi garage opener are listed as included.
Are the community amenities finished?
